The Town Crier is a monthly position held by the person with the most recommended Tweets within a particular city's Happn.in Feed for that month. Once chosen, the Town Crier is given access to their city's Twitter account and asked to send out a city relevant Tweet once a day. In essence they are that city's trusted source for local pronouncements.
